Subprocessors

The service providers that process personal information for MentorU.

Platform operator: Kahel Ventures LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, operating MentorU.

About this list

MentorU uses the service providers below to operate the platform. They process personal information on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it, and only to provide their service to MentorU. AI model providers may not use this information to train their models. The Privacy Policy explains how MentorU handles personal information.

Current subprocessors

  • OpenAI

    AI model provider, reached directly or through Vercel AI Gateway

    Purpose
    May perform any of MentorU’s AI features a workspace turns on: writing, sorting, checking messages for signs of crisis, answering questions, search indexes and images.
    Data categories
    Workspace content and settings, the mentor’s past messages and voice settings, contact names and any role or company fields, the text of messages sent to or from the mentor, questions asked of the AI assistants, and prompts and reference images a workspace provides, only for the requests it handles.

  • Anthropic

    AI model provider, reached directly or through Vercel AI Gateway

    Purpose
    May perform any of MentorU’s AI features a workspace turns on: writing, sorting, checking messages for signs of crisis, answering questions, search indexes and images.
    Data categories
    Workspace content and settings, the mentor’s past messages and voice settings, contact names and any role or company fields, the text of messages sent to or from the mentor, questions asked of the AI assistants, and prompts and reference images a workspace provides, only for the requests it handles.

  • Google

  • Vercel

    Hosting and AI gateway

    Purpose
    Hosts and serves the MentorU application, measures page usage, and routes requests to AI model providers through Vercel AI Gateway.
    Data categories
    Information processed by the application while it runs, request logs, IP address, device and browser details, page views, and AI requests and responses in transit.

  • Supabase

    Database, authentication and storage

    Purpose
    Stores MentorU data, signs users in, and stores uploaded files and finalized recordings.
    Data categories
    Account, workspace, customer and member data, content and uploads, consent and contact-preference records, Autopilot records, and encrypted connection tokens.

  • Stripe

    Payments

    Purpose
    Processes platform subscriptions and provider offering payments, fees, refunds, disputes and payouts.
    Data categories
    Name, email address, billing details, payment method details (held by Stripe), and transaction amounts, statuses and identifiers.

  • Resend

    Email

    Purpose
    Delivers transactional and workspace email sent from MentorU.
    Data categories
    Recipient name and email address, email content, and delivery, bounce and complaint events.

  • LiveKit

    Live room media

    Purpose
    Carries live audio, video and screen sharing for MentorU Live Rooms and produces recordings that a host requests.
    Data categories
    Participant identifiers and display names, live audio, video and screen sharing, room metadata, and requested recordings.

  • Cloudflare

    File storage and bot protection

    Purpose
    Stores and serves live room recordings when a workspace’s recording storage uses Cloudflare R2, and MentorU onboarding videos. Checks that sign-up, booking, inquiry and donation forms are sent by a person (Cloudflare Turnstile).
    Data categories
    Recorded audio, video and screen sharing; the IP address and browser details of people who play stored files; and, for form checks, the visitor’s IP address and browser and device signals (not the form’s contents).

  • Deepgram (through LiveKit Inference)

    Live captions

    Purpose
    Converts room audio to live English captions when a host or workspace admin turns on Live captions.
    Data categories
    Room microphone audio from participants who accepted the captions notice. Caption text is not stored by MentorU.

Services a workspace chooses to connect

When a workspace owner or admin connects one of these services, MentorU exchanges data with it only as the connection requires. Each service handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy, and the Privacy Policy describes each connection in detail.
